J. Stewart Parrish received his B.A. from the University of Mississippi in 1991 and his J.D. from the University of Mississippi School of Law in 1997. He is a member in good standing of the Mississippi Bar Association, the Young Lawyers Division of the Mississippi Bar Association, and was previously admitted to practice in Florida. After graduating from college, and prior to completing law school, Mr. Parrish spent four years in law enforcement in Alachua County, Florida. After law school, Mr. Parrish was employed as a prosecutor for the 14th Judicial Circuit of the State of Florida from 1998 to 2000. Upon returning to Mississippi in 2000, Mr. Parrish served as public defender for Lauderdale County until November 2002. Mr. Parrish is currently engaged in the private practice of law in Lauderdale County with primary areas of practice in criminal defense and civil litigation.
